A groggy Yellow Jacket team rubbed the sleep from their eyes and came back to beat a feisty UConn team on Sunday after the 10am faceoff. The game was a back and forth affair early before th Huskies built a 6-3 lead in the second quarter and lead 7-5 at half. The Jackets got the first goal of the third quarter and stormed back to take a 9-8 lead at the end of of the third. Tech got to 12-9 in the fourth quarter before a late comback from UConn got the game to 12-11. Gino Pagliaro came out of the gage to steal a pass in the last seconds and blunt the Husky come back attempt. The Jackets remain undefeated at 8-0.
