Colorado Squeaks by Tech in OT

In a much anticipated matchup between two top programs with different styles, emerging Georgia Tech playing a more traditional style and traditional power Colorado playing a run and gun style, there were fireworks through out.  The Jackets playing determined defense and team offense owned the first half with a 7-3 lead.  Colorado exploded with a 8-0 scoring run to take a 11-7 lead with 10:48 left in the 4th Quarter. The young Tech squad refused to back down and turned the game around holding the Buffaloes scoreless for the remainder of the quarter and going on a four goal run of their own to tie the game a 11-11 with a minute to go. The game went to overtime after some last minute heroics from both squads.  In overtime both teams had oportunities to score but Colorado prevailed with 50 seconds on the clock.   Colorado was able to get past the Jackets despite three goals each from Adrian Franzone, Gabe Banks, and Riley Callaghan.
