Jackets Name Tri-Captains for 2024 Season

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Men's Lacrosse Team names three fourth year juniors as captains for the 2024 season in Curran Myers, Carrington Kelsey, and Brooks Baro. These young men will lead a Georgia Tech team looking to build on last year's SELC title season.

Myers, a defenseman from Alpharetta, Georgia is looking to make an impact after missing most of the 2023 season recovering from offseason surgery and brings a vocal presence to the Tech defense. While Myers was out in 2023 he helped the team by managing the substitution box through the regular season and SELC playoffs before returning to the field In the MCLA tournament.

Kelsey, from Memphis, Tennessee, brings hard-nosed gritty approach to the defensive midfield and earned All SELC honors in 2023. Kelsey is a stout defender who refuses to back down.

Baro, from Peachtree City, Georgia, enters the year with 142 career points and has earned All-America honors the last two seasons. Baro has been involved in numerous clutch goals for the Jackets over his career including scoring three fourth-quarter goals in the 2023 SELC Championship Game.

Baro, Kelsey, and Myers have lead the Jackets through the Fall and will set the standard for 2024 Yellow Jackets. The Yellow Jackets begin the 2024 season at Clemson on February 3.
