Tech Defeats Clemson to advance to SELC Semifinals

The Jackets faced Clemson on Friday night in an SELC quarterfinal matchup. After some early sloppiness on both ends the Jackets settled in and ran away from the Tigers. Behind a blend of quick hitting early offense, tenacious riding, and swarming defense and groundball play the Jackets overwhelmed the Tigers getting out to a 14-3 halftime lead. The Jackets closed the game out with a 18-9 final score. Conrad McEvoy notched his 100th point of the season building on his record setting campaign.
The Jackets will next face Florida State in the semifinals at 7:30 on Saturday.
