Georgia Tech faced the reigning National Champion and currently ranked #13 Michigan State Spartans on Saturday in Nashville. The Spartans came out of the gates hot leading 4-2 after one quarter. Tech tied the game at five in the second quarter, but let Michigan State score two more goals before half time.
Trailing 7-5 at the break, the Jackets stormed back in the third powered by spirited play between the lines and on ground balls. At the end of the third, the Jackets held a 10-8 lead. Tech controlled the game through the fourth quarter and closed out a 13-9 win.
