Jackets race out to 7-0 lead in first quarter, 16-1 at Halftime to down the Aztecs 18-5. Jack Topping opened the scoring with a transition goal after some early sloppy play. Following Topping's goal, the Jackets came to life en route to the 15 goal margin at Halftime. Conrad McEvoy paced the Jackets with nine points, but the Jackets got scoring from all over with fourteen different Yellow Jackets recording a point. The Jackets were able to play their entire roster in the game.
