The Jackets overcame a 4-1 mid first quarter deficit to take a big lead with minutes remaining in the 3rd Quarter, but then had to withstand a 4th quarter Rally to knock off 4th ranked Chapman!
After The Panthers went out to a 4-1 lead the Jackets clawed their back in the game on three straight goals from Griffin Goggans and eventually worked their way to a 6-5 halftime lead. Tech opened the third quarter with a flurry of goals and got out to an 11-5 lead. The Panthers would not go quietly into the cold dark night and fought their way back to tie the game at 11. The Jackets were able to draw a penalty and got the game winning goal from Conrad McEvoy on an assist from Tim Peterson. Tech's defense was solid throughout lead by an exceptional effort from shortsticks Zeke Day and Andrew Yi. The Jackets were lead offensively by Tim Peterson with five points and Conrad McEvoy with four points.
