Tech Defeats Out Manned Vanderbilt

The Jackets overcame a slow start to run away with a 24-9 victory against Vanderbilt. The visiting Commodores were able to take advantage of a sloppy start by Tech and shot out to a quick 2-0 lead. The Jackets then wrestled control of the game away closing the first quarter with a 7-1 run. The second quarter was all Jackets and the halftime score was 17-5 and the final was 24-9.
Tech now prepares to head to the west coast to play Chapman and San Diego State next weekend.
