Bio

Coach Freeman is entering his 14th year with Jackets, over which team he has worked with the offense and goalies and ran the substitution box.  Coach Freeman currently serves as the Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator.  Coach Freeman has helped lead the Jackets to back to back conference championships in 2016 and 2017.  During his tenure the Jackets have made the MCLA national tournament six times appearing in the Final Four four times.  He has coached numerous All-Conference players and MCLA All America Players.  Coach Freeman has coached two players who graduated as Georgia Tech’s all-time leading scorers.   

Coach Freeman played at Denison University where he was a member of the 2004 North Coast Athletic Conference champions.  Prior to Denison, he played for Troy Kemp at the McCallie School where he graduated as the school’s all-time leading scorer.  Coach Freeman played for Coach Lovic as a member of the Southeast All Stars at the Vail Shootout where they won two consecutive division championships.  Coach Freeman also serves as an assistant director with GT Lax Camps.  

In addition to his roles with Georgia Tech, Coach Freeman serves as member of the SELC awards committee and as the Director of Player Programs for the MCLA.

Coach Freeman married his wife Kate in 2011 and they reside in Atlanta with their daughter Finley and their two dogs.
