The Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Men's Lacrosse team played The University of Alabama in an SELC region contest on Friday. The Jackets started slow with the Tide goalie turning away several shots early. Eventually the Jackets were able to break through. The Jackets were able to build a 5-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was more of the same as Tech built a 10-1 lead at halftime. The Jackets were able to cruise to a 20-7 win. Brooks Baro lead Tech with nine points (5G, 4A). Freshman midfielders Nick Eliacin and Asher Wagnon combined for eleven points. Freshman Aaron Piszczek won 10 of 11 faceoffs. The Jackets turn around quickly with a game against the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday.
