Jackets Down Eagles

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Men's lacrosse team opened the 2022 campaign with a win against the #12 Boston College Eagles.  BC came into Atlanta following a win over the South Carolina Gamecocks, the winners of the last MCLA national tournament in 2019.  After several minutes of back of forth play, the Jackets got the on the board first with two quick goals from senior Zach Shenken.  The Jackets built a lead of 8-1 going into the fourth quarter before sloppy play gave the Eagles extra possessions and they were able to convert to close the gap.  Tech steadied themselves and was able to seal the 10-6 victory.  Gino Pagliaro backstopped the Jackets with 10 saves.  Tech will next face the Vanderbilt Commodores in a conference game on Friday February 18 at home.
