Bio

Jack Van Slyke is entering his first year with the Georgia Tech program as a Volunteer Assistant Coach helping with the defense and goalies.

A 2022 graduate of Bucknell University, Jack spent the last four years playing as a goalie for the Bison under Head Coach Frank Fedorjaka in the Patriot League. During his time there he logged a 10.35 goals against average and a .545 career save percentage, and was a three-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Bucknell, Jack attended Georgetown Preparatory School, starting at goalie as a sophomore and junior before losing senior season to injury. He was the first sophomore to start in net for the Little Hoyas, and played for the Baltimore Breakers Club program.

Born in Atlanta, Jack has grown up a Georgia Tech Lacrosse fan after his father, Paul Van Slyke, played for the program from ’79 to ’82, graduating undergrad in ’83, and grad school in ’86 in Architecture. Paul was inducted into the 2010 Hall of Fame Inaugural Class and The Crease Club five years later.
