On a bright sunny day before a spirited 50th Anniversary Reunion crowd the Jackets renewed its storied rivalry over a determined resurgent Georgia Bulldog squad. The intense contest was a game of runs in the first half, the Jackets going on a 5-0 run in the first quarter and the Bulldogs fighting back with a 6-0 run in the second quarter. With the game on the line the healthy Jackets put on a display of offense firepower and defensive determination secure a dominating 15-8 win.
