Jackets Outdueled in National Tournament

The Yellow Jackets suffered a season ending defeat to the South Carolina Gamecocks in the first round of the MCLA National Tournament.  After advancing out of the first round the past three years, the Jackets were unable to advance this year.  The game was tied at two after the first quarter, but Tech was unable to capitalize on their opportunities the rest of the way.  The Jackets were paced by strong performances from Andrew Yi at the faceoff and Alex Crombie in goal.  The loss ends the season for Tech.  The Jacket seniors finish their careers having made the national tournament four times and won two SELC championships losing a total of eleven games in their careers.  Moving forward, Tech returns a strong nucleus for 2019 and has a number of recruits coming in looking to make an impact.
