The Jackets never trailed, led 5-1 at the half, overcame a Gopher comeback to secure the win in the 4th Quarter. Tech against Both Boston College and Florida State saw a big half time lead fade in the third quarter. When challenged in the 4th the young Yellow Jackets without key players did not match up and sustained two losses. Minnesota came back strong to take a 5-1 have time deficit and turn it into a one goal game down 7-6 two minutes into the 4th quarter. This time would be different, the offense played with composure and the defense was not backing down, competition for ground balls and face off wins was fierce and in a total team effort the Jackets prevailed against an inspired foe for a much needed victory!
