Tech wins 3rd! Face Major Challenge Next weekend

With dominating defense and scoring coming from all directions and multiple players Georgia Tech won its home opener going away. "It was nice to get the first home win of the season but we face a huge test next weekend with top ranked Chapman and Boston College coming to town" observed Head Coach Ken Lovic.  "It was great to get everyone involved and I'm pleased with the performance of the young guys but we have a tough season in front of us". 

The defense was tested early but settled in allowing only 4 goals in total and held Ole Miss scoreless in two quarters as the Jackets dominated with 12 players scoring, up 8-2 at Halftime Tech exploded in the second half to win Going away.

In the all important faceoff area where maintaining possessions are key, for the third straight game Tech monopolized. Andrew Yi won 15 of 16 faceoffs. That domination led to the many offensives opportunities for the Yellow Jackets.
